Lunch Calls!

Another lunchtime, another meal of the day. Today I have tried something new. I had wholemeal pitta pizza!
It was delicious, but next time I am using less pesto, it was a tad overpowering!

I had a wholemeal pitta bread, spread with tomato ketchup (I prefer tomato puree but we didn't have any), added 30g low fat Mozzarella, Red onion, Basil Pesto and 1 slice of Chorizo! I served this with some Cucumber and Red pepper slices! 

It was nice to eat something warm for a change and at a total of 390 calories it made a welcome change!

1 Week down!

A week in to my new healthy eating plan and I am feeling great having lost 4 pounds from just counting calories using my fitness pal! This week I want to up the fitness, if I can squeeze it in with work and college! I want to say I will defiantly do some form of exercise 3 times a week, and push that to 5 when I have the time!

Unfortunately I just would only really be able to go to my local gym twice a week which I don't think is worth it for the amount I would need to pay! So instead, for the time being I plan to do Josie Gibson's DVD combined with yoga. I know yoga isn't cardio and fat burning particularly but I really enjoy it and always feel refreshed after it, and then the DVD, well, it kills me quiet frankly! But that means its working right?!

I will keep you updated during this week which  I feel is going to be tough!!

My Fitness Pal App

I feel incredibly focused this week and hopefully it will last! I decided to start using the My Fitness Pal app, now I think this little app is a gem and its free! You simply add the food as you eat it either by searching for the food or scanning the product barcode.

This app has everything you can think of even supermarket branded products, and if it doesn't you can simply add in the amount of calories. You can put exercise in there too choosing what, time, how much effort you put in! It's great/ scary to see how quickly calories add up!

So finally I can show you my all time favourite breakfast! Is so sweet and tasty but good for you! It is cut up strawberries with raspberries and Onken fat free vanilla yogurt  You can use whatever flavour/brand yogurt you wish but fat free is best!

You really need to try this!

Also my YouTube video is now finally up! My editor didn't work so I couldn't snip bits out! I would appreciate suggestions on editing software for windows Pc!

Lunch Calls!

So its Lunchtime again and I have gone back to an old favourite that I haven't had for a,brown and wild basmati rice with tuna, cucumber and spring onion!

This is totally delicious and good for you. I choose the brown rice version just because I think it keeps me fuller for longer with the slow release energy, its also a brilliant lunch to take on the go with me.

Today I finally took the step of starting my first YouTube channel, it focuses more on Beauty then Diet and lifestyle, but I may include some on that, it's still early days!

I have been thinking about doing this for some time now and decided what with starting my blog it would be a great time! My first video is the About Me Tag, and it should be up now (fingers crossed) I am nervous/exited about this, I am pleased that I have finally found a hobby enjoy!

Breakfast time!

So I woke up knowing exactly what wanted for breakfast, PEACHES! So I did! 
I absolutely LOVE these little gems!, they are so sweet and tasty,I have the ones in juice they are my favourite ones! the only down side is that they aren't particularly filling, but I didn't have any of my usual stuff left! (you will have to keep your eyes peeled for that one!

Lunch Calls!

It's my first lunchtime of my health kick, I must admit if there was nothing I fancied I would skip lunch altogether only to snack on rubbish throughout the afternoon! 

So today my lunch was this: 


I had a wholemeal seeded wrap filled with tuna flakes, red onion and watercress. I really enjoy tuna, and it is pretty much one of the only fillings that I actually enjoy!

I finished off with this:
I am a weirdo and only like eating apples if they are cut up! , please don't ask me why I have absolutely no idea myself! This is a pink lady apple which is one of my favourites!

I am hoping to post at least one meal post a day out of the three meals so there will be a bit of variety hopefully!

The Start

First post on my brand new shiny blog! It is such a beautiful day outside so I feel inspired to start my blog and get it out there. 

I finally feel that I am ready to start my diet, it's days like this when the sun is out that I feel like I can do it and push myself to look and feel good (finally!). So you will probably want to know more about me, I'm 18 and a training to be a legal secretary. I have always been a chubby child and always that little bit bigger then the rest and I knew it! when I was about 13 I lost a lot of weight and felt amazing, the best i ever felt, but bad habits formed again and I put it all back on and more! 

In 2011 I started watching beauty videos on YouTube and was reading blogs too, I completely fell in love with make up then and the best part was that make up is really a one size fits all, it doesn't matter what size you are you can always pull off a good face of make up! However, I also LOVE clothes and shoes and bags and my size limits me to wearing the clothes that I really love and would love to wear! I would love to be able to pull off a pair of disco pants with a pretty blouse tucked in, but in reality I would NEVER be able to wear that and feel confident! 

So here I am, about to start my journey into feeling happy and confident I am not going to be having shakes as replacements just cut out snacks and reduce the amount of carbs, Saturday will be my treat day not all day but something sweet to stop me cheating badly!

I have my cousins wedding in September and would love to wow family I haven't seen for sometime with a new me!
